6:15-6:45 -- Ron Muir, update from Marine Patrol and discussion about State Guide Board

6:45-7:15 -- Safety:

-MASKGI Safety standards: discussion and decision! Please click here to check the MASKGI web site soon to preview the standards we will be voting on!!!

-MASKGI safety outreach: how can we work towards better communications with working boats? Sending a MASKGI rep to the Maine Lobstermen's Association meeting and other ideas.

-Update on the point-of-kayak-sale info packet project.

7:15- 8:00 -- MASKGI vision:

-Where do we go from here? Taking the brainstorming list generated by membership at the last meeting and identify a few priority actions and plans for the future of MASKGI.

-Also, incorporating ideas generated at the Maine Coast Seminar, particularly concerning safety and stewardship.

8:00 - 8:30 -- New Maine LNT video viewing (Charlie Jacobi from ANP might come)

8:30 -9:00 -- Upcoming events, membership announcements, distribute new brochures

DIRECTIONS:

Coming from the south on route 1:

From Main Street (rt1/3) in downtown Ellsworth, turn left immediately after the Union River Bridge onto State Street. After the row of red brick buildings, the Ellsworth Public Library is the big white building with a nice garden. Park across the street.

Coming from Bangor:

From Route 1A, turn right onto Main street (Route 1) at Dunkin Donuts. Go down hill to lights just before Union River Bridge, turn right onto State Street. After the row of red brick buildings, the Ellsworth Public Library is the big white building with a nice garden. Park across the street.

From Downeast:

Go all the way through the Ellsworth strip (route 1), at the Dunkin Donuts, turn left onto Maine Street (route 1). Go down hill to lights just before Union River Bridge, turn right onto State Street. After the row of red brick buildings, the Ellsworth Public Library is the big white building with a nice garden. Park across the street.
